Ann is a storyteller by birth and a communications nerd by education. By trade, she’s an infrastructure woman. She believes adamantly in the importance of all the things that make storytelling possible–the screen for the movie to be viewed, the pages for the book to be printed, and the device to run the website. As Marshall McLuhan said, “The medium is a message.” (Or the “massage” depending on which edition of his work you read). She supports the infrastructure in her role at MK3—assisting with the day to day tasks necessary to make the office run like a well-oiled machine, freeing everyone else up to do what they do best: tell stories.
Ann graduated from New York University with degrees in Economics and Communications. After her debt accumulating education, she dove into the nonprofit world serving as a missionary for three years and planning events for the Archdiocese of Boston for two. She made her move to MK3, looking to return to the wonderful world of storytelling. When not hard at work, Ann can be found anywhere in the streets of Boston logging some miles with her friends from Forest Hills Runners or climbing the walls at a local rock gym. Sitting still is very rarely an option for her, but when she does, she is probably watching a movie or reading a book.
